Administrative law

This branch of law is not sufficiently accentuated by law firms, although it has a very large impact on the daily functioning of both businesses and consumers.

Just by way of example there should be indicated such issues as:
  • registration of vehicles,
  • issuance of any civil status,
  • any building permits,
  • licenses and permits, e.g. for the sale of alcohol,
  • taxes and local fees.

Often during one case or project there overlap the issues of several areas of law. It is enough to indicate a case related to the division of marital property, where it includes business enterprise, or the case of inheritance where the estate includes shares in several companies.

Administrative law appears in business transactions, e.g. in a situation where the company wants to build a production hall and petrol stations. Then the Law Office assists in the process of obtaining a building permit and helps in the proceedings concerning the impact of the planned investment on the environment. The Law Office experience turns out to be very valuable in administrative matters, in the provision of legal assistance to local government units where legal counsel is involved in drafting administrative decisions, complaints to the Administrative Court for the City Council resolutions, orders for the Mayor. Working for local government enables to have an insight into the practice of a wide range of issues of public utilities and local plans, property taxes (exemption from such taxes) and the Public Procurement Law.
